At Boskenna you will find elegant and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation with a choice of spacious ensuite rooms designed to suit different preferences. Open all year round, we provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, a haven of peace and tranquillity in what has been described as one of the few untouched places left in the world.
Two cottage-style ensuite rooms, The Coach House and The Stables, are accessed directly from the farmhouse’s cobbled courtyard, providing privacy and flexibility to come and go throughout the day. These beautifully converted spaces feature high beamed ceilings, traditional Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk local materials and tasteful furnishings, with each room offering a bath and shower, soft towels, quality toiletries, a comfortable settee, flat screen TV with DVD, silent mini fridge and a well-stocked beverage tray.
If you would like a more traditional farmhouse bed and breakfast experience, the charming ensuite Garden Room in the main house is available and can be arranged as either a super-king double or a twin.
Set in a rural location just six miles from Penzance and above the South West Coast Path on the Lands End Peninsula, Boskenna offers easy access to spectacular scenery and coastal walks, from the wooded valley leading to St Loys Cove to the dramatic clifftops of Lamorna and Porthcurno. The world-famous Minack Open Air Theatre is close by, perched above Porthcurno Bay and the surrounding area provides countless opportunities to explore both coast and moorland.
Boskenna is part of a small hamlet surrounded by the family’s working beef farm, home to pedigree herds of North Devon cattle, known for their deep ruby-red coats, and South Devon cattle, often affectionately called “orange elephants.” Guests are welcome to take a farm tour and meet the animals, adding to the sense of connection with this special part of Cornwall.
To ensure comfort for all, Boskenna operates a non-smoking policy and while pets cannot be accommodated in the suites except for guide dogs by prior arrangement, guests are welcome to bring pets and have them sleep in their cars.
We also have a Shepherd's Hut & a self catering cottge available for hire for short breaks and weekly breaks - please enquire for details.
