The Upper Deck provides luxury accommodation in the seaside town of Marazion, Cornwall. Perfectly located in a stunning coastal setting, the property offers breathtaking views of St Michael’s Mount, famously featured as Castle Driftwood in the filming of House of The Dragon.
Our Victorian property offers an abundance of period features and superb accommodation in two rooms. Both rooms are finished to the highest standards and includes dressing gowns and fluffy white towels and offer natural, ethically sourced ‘Pure Nuff Stuff’ toiletry products made in Penzance.
The Upper Deck B&B Suite
This lavish suite occupies the entire top Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk floor of Britannia House and includes a king-size bed, plus spectacular sea views from the dining area and Lloyd Loom chair. Entertainment facilities include a flat screen LED Freeview TV or BOSE sound system. The en suite bathroom has a deep bath and electric shower, heated towel rail and high-quality bathroom fittings.
The Lower Deck
Our superking/twin room is situated on the first floor and enjoys sea views. The room has two 6’6” cast iron single beds by the ‘Cornish Bed Company’ which can be zipped together to form a Super King bed. The room also enjoys exclusive use of the first-floor living room which comes with comfy seating, a toasty log burner, smart TV and sea views. A private bathroom comes with a walk-in rain shower and marble sink unit.
You can savour a delicious breakfast to set you up for a day of sightseeing. We bake our own breads, muesli and granola using quality locally sourced ingredients. The dining area offers scenic sea views and we provide a range of options to suit all your needs. On arrival, you can also look forward to a welcome cream tea with homemade scones and clotted cream.
Outside there is a courtyard shower, plus a secure courtyard and storeroom for bicycles etc. When the sun is shining, you can dine on the sea deck whilst admiring views of St Michaels Mount.
We are just 50 yards from the sea, perfect for paddle boarding, swimming or sailing. You can also enjoy an array of attractions, including:
